I’ve just gotten news that the trebuchet went out in glory. It both made a new record (243 ft) and broke appart at the same time. Though I was not there to witness the event, I will receive pictures and perhaps video shortly, and post them. See the trebuchet article here.

I’m currently working on a projects to display 3-D graphs, like this applet. It turns out that this is a lot harder than it seems…
Another thing I got running was PovRay!
PovRay is a “ray tracing engine”. Basically, it takes 3-D objects, and displays them 2-D by shading certain regions, calculated by where the “light source” and the “camera” are. This is a very math intensive process, so spreading it out over many computers makes it run much faster.
Sure, I may not have the coolest network, but it runs! I made some pretty graphs of what it is now, and what I want it to be…
