It actually (sorta) works!

I decided after seeing nBot that I wanted to build a balancing robot! I didn’t have any of that fancy gyro/accelerometer stuff, so I figured out how to use to IR sensors to sens distance from the ground, and thus deduce angle. Turns out someone did something like mine (here), however he used one IR.

Currently it only balances for about 6 seconds, but I’ll get it working better yet!
